It's hard to imagine vacationing in Mexico without sprawling across golden sands, reveling in the vibrant nightlife, or marveling at the ancient sites of Mayan and Aztec archeological wonders. Here are a couple of areas I would like to highlight that offers a lot to do for both families and couples along with beautiful Resorts and beaches.

Cabo San LucaCabo San Lucas

Here, at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, land ends and the Sea of Cortez wrestles with Pacific Ocean. Breathtaking beaches line the resort area of Los Cabos, making it the trendiest of the west coast destinations. Two towns, lively Cabo San Lucas and laid-back San Jose del Cabo, are bridged by the 20 mile "Corridor", lined with world-class oceanfront hotels; and where fishermen line-up to see who has brought home the biggest "monster" of the day.

While the nightlife in San Jose del Cabo centers around the restaurants and large hotels, Cabo San Lucas is the party capital of Los Cabos, where you'll find a wide variety of nightclubs as well as casual and fine dining options, and not a few celebrity sightings.

Known as the Sport Fishing capital of the world, Cabo is home to many big game fish, particularly marlin. The marina at Cabo San Lucas hosts sailfish, swordfish, marlin and dorado fishing tournaments yearly.

During the winter In Los Cabos you can admire one of the most extraordinary natural phenomena to occur on Mexico's coasts: the courtship process of the gray whale. It is estimated that 20,000 of these whales migrate to the Mexican coast each year. You can also spy blue, humpback and sperm whales.

CancunSurrounded on three sides by lagoon, bay and sea, Cancun offers a variety of vacation experiences. Some of the best beaches with beautiful white sand beaches can be found in Cancun which is naturally situated in subtropical jungle perfect for exploration and adventure. Hop on a jet ski or charter a boat for some deep sea fishing and spend a leisurely day at sea. Pristine reefs exist for snorkeling and diving. Relax overlooking the crystalline waters of the Caribbean Sea in a hammock, or pamper yourself at a world-class spa.

•  The Hotel Zone of Cancun, located along the world-famous "seven" shaped peninsula at the eastern tip of Mexico, is truly a shoppers' paradise, with everything from lively street markets to the world's most exclusive boutiques within walking distance of fantastic resorts.
•  Most of Cancun's Top resorts are All-Inclusive or stay at an EP and enjoy the ambiance of all of the fine Restaurants that Cancun has to offer.
•  The glittering nightlife still reigns in Cancun, with all-night discos, live music, piano bars and even jazz clubs open year round.
